Carlos Asilis, PhD
Managing Director
Carlos Asilis leads the design and implementation of a dynamic asset-allocation framework that blends strategic, tactical, and thematic overlays across equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodities as well as drawdown-mitigation tools and scenario analysis to optimize downside protection.
Over the past three decades, Carlos has served as senior portfolio manager, chief investment officer and chief investment strategist at some of the world’s leading financial institutions. On the investment management side, Carlos served at Graham Capital Management, Vega Asset Management and Banco Santander’s Main Proprietary Trading Group (Madrid) where he has run cross-asset market portfolios. Between 2007 and 2024, Carlos was one of two co-founders and the Chief Investment Officer of Glovista Investments, a US based asset management firm that ran global investment programs for over 40 US and European institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, endowment funds as well as family offices from the US, Latin America, India and Europe.
On the investment strategy side, Carlos served as Chief Global Investment Strategist at JPMorgan Chase (1999-2002) where he held primary responsibility in producing global asset allocation recommendations for the firm’s institutional client base worldwide as well as providing regular input to the firm’s Executive Board in the context of the Board’s periodic revisions of the firm’s multi-year strategy plans.
In the 1990s Carlos served as Chief Emerging Market Strategist at several Proprietary Trading Groups, including at UBS and Credit Suisse First Boston, as well as Chief Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange Strategist for Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe and Latin America at Merrill Lynch.
Prior to his career on Wall Street, Carlos served at the International Monetary Fund where he held primary responsibility in economic surveillance on a number of major developing countries, including the Russian Federation and China, in addition to overseeing review process and participating in several technical assistance and review missions to the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Carlos started his career in 1988 at Georgetown University as economics professor, following his graduation from the University of Chicago (Ph.D., M.A.) and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (Finance and Economics).

Lisandro Chanlatte, CAIA
Managing Director
Lisandro Chanlatte spearheads business development and designs bespoke advisory strategies – portfolio construction, concentrated-holdings analytics, and risk management – tailored to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families and institutional OCIO mandates, while overseeing the firm’s investment operations platform to ensure seamless execution.
Lisandro was most recently the Head of Investment Advisory for North America for Citi Private Bank. In his role, Lisandro was responsible for enhancing the client investment experience by delivering timely investments strategies and intellectual content. He was a member of the Global Private Bank Leadership team.
Prior to this role, he was the Head of Investments for Latin America where he was responsible for all Capital Markets, Discretionary/Advisory Investments and Alternatives sales in the region – leveraging the firm’s institutional platform and leading the execution of the firm’s investment strategies and high conviction ideas. He also served as the Head of the Latin America Investments Lab where he led a team responsible for asset allocation, portfolio construction, investment analytics and risk management. Lisandro rejoined Citi from BAP Capital, a distressed Real Estate Fund, where he was a Managing Director & Investment Officer (2009-2011) responsible for managing the investment and development activity for the Fund as well as the coordination of all investment underwriting.
Before joining BAP, he was Director and Investment Officer for Citi’s Global Pension Investments Group (2006-2009), a $12 Billion Defined Benefit Plan. He was responsible for strategic asset allocation, portfolio monitoring, manager selection, and due diligence on several real estate/private equity funds and hedge funds. Moreover, he led the group’s real estate private equity secondary sale process and oversaw the private equity secondary sale of limited partnerships.
He joined Citi in 2004 as part of the Financial Management Associate program, where he worked in Corporate M&A and Alternative Investments (NY) and the CFO’s office (Japan). Prior to Citi, he spent 4 years at JP Morgan (1998-2002) as an Equity Research Associate in the U.S. Metals, Mining and Steel group (1999-2002).
Lisandro holds a BBA from Loyola University New Orleans (summa cum laude), and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a native Spanish speaker and is proficient in both Portuguese and French. He is also a CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designee. He holds Series 7, 24, 31, 63 and 65 licenses.
