Juan Mendoza combines investment operations expertise with a growing focus on portfolio analytics, supporting the firm’s wealth management platform across trade execution, account management, portfolio rebalancing, client servicing, and quantitative analysis including stress testing, scenario analysis, and dispersion reporting.
Prior to joining the firm, Juan spent three years at Blackstone within the Multi-Asset Investing group (BXMA), where he supported institutional portfolio management and investment operations across a centralized team interfacing with Portfolio Management, Middle Office, Legal and Compliance, and external custodians including MUFG and BNY. He coordinated trade settlement and fund launches while overseeing the execution of investment documentation including subscription and redemption agreements, term sheets, and AML/KYC materials.
Before Blackstone, Juan spent over three years in the TMT sector. At HBO Latin America (now Warner Bros. Discovery), he focused on content acquisition and production across key South American markets, including Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico, managing the contractual frameworks governing those partnerships. He subsequently held a role at Univision Communications (now TelevisaUnivision).
Juan holds a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Boston College. He holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
