Lisandro Chanlatte spearheads business development and designs bespoke advisory strategies – portfolio construction, concentrated-holdings analytics, and risk management – tailored to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families and institutional OCIO mandates, while overseeing the firm’s investment operations platform to ensure seamless execution.
Lisandro was most recently the Head of Investment Advisory for North America for Citi Private Bank. In his role, Lisandro was responsible for enhancing the client investment experience by delivering timely investments strategies and intellectual content. He was a member of the Global Private Bank Leadership team.
Prior to this role, he was the Head of Investments for Latin America where he was responsible for all Capital Markets, Discretionary/Advisory Investments and Alternatives sales in the region – leveraging the firm’s institutional platform and leading the execution of the firm’s investment strategies and high conviction ideas. He also served as the Head of the Latin America Investments Lab where he led a team responsible for asset allocation, portfolio construction, investment analytics and risk management. Lisandro rejoined Citi from BAP Capital, a distressed Real Estate Fund, where he was a Managing Director & Investment Officer (2009-2011) responsible for managing the investment and development activity for the Fund as well as the coordination of all investment underwriting.
Before joining BAP, he was Director and Investment Officer for Citi’s Global Pension Investments Group (2006-2009), a $12 Billion Defined Benefit Plan. He was responsible for strategic asset allocation, portfolio monitoring, manager selection, and due diligence on several real estate/private equity funds and hedge funds. Moreover, he led the group’s real estate private equity secondary sale process and oversaw the private equity secondary sale of limited partnerships.
He joined Citi in 2004 as part of the Financial Management Associate program, where he worked in Corporate M&A and Alternative Investments (NY) and the CFO’s office (Japan). Prior to Citi, he spent 4 years at JP Morgan (1998-2002) as an Equity Research Associate in the U.S. Metals, Mining and Steel group (1999-2002).
Lisandro holds a BBA from Loyola University New Orleans (summa cum laude), and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a native Spanish speaker and is proficient in both Portuguese and French. He is also a CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designee. He holds Series 7, 24, 31, 63 and 65 licenses.
